"Pockets" is a heartwarming true story about a boy's special visit with his great grandfather. Colton is excited to visit his great grandparents, but he is unhappy that his mother can't give him his favorite jeans and T-shirt to wear for the visit. His mother does not tell him why she doesn't have his favorite clothes for him, but she seems to smile. Then they arrive at Great Grandpa's and Colton happily plays in the back yard with Great -Grandpa. In his busy play, he collects three piles of natural objects, leaves, stones, and acorns. He asks his Great Grandpa for a way to carry his special things. This leads to a search for the best way to carry everything, which leads to Great Grandpa bringing Colton a paper bag with something inside. To Colton's surprise, it contains his favorite overalls with pockets and his favorite comfortable orange T-shirt. Happily, Colton changes to his favorite clothes ( which are just like Great-Grandpa's), uses his pockets, and gives his Great Grandpa one special leftover red stone to carry in a pocket next to his heart. "Pockets" is a wonderful, warm, immediate interaction experience between generations. Both the story and the colorful illustrations help to bring a precious focus to the treasured relationship between a boy and his Great-Grandpa.
Pockets is now available on Amazon.com.

Wonderful Family Children's Book
Cindy Juckette has written a wonderful children's book about family, grandparents, and memories. The storyline is great for children, as well as families. My niece and nephew loved the book and now we are sharing it with our friends and family. The book's illustrations go perfectly with the story.
